Terms
Terms of service
Last updated September 7, 2026. These are the terms for using 10xmovers as a moving company. They are short on purpose. If something here does not work for your business, tell us before you sign up rather than after.
The short version
We answer your inbound calls, qualify the move, and either book the move or take a move request, depending on how your account is set. You pay a flat monthly fee, month to month, and you can cancel at any time. Your call data is yours. We do not make outbound AI calls, and we do not guarantee a specific number of bookings.
Who this is between
This agreement is between 10xmovers, Washington, DC, and the business that signs up for an account. By setting up forwarding to a number we provide, you accept these terms.
What the service is
- An automated voice agent that answers calls forwarded from your business number.
- Qualification questions built for moving work, tuned to your market and your preferences.
- Booking the move onto your calendar, meaning the arrival window your crew is expected, or taking a move request with the details and a desired date and nothing held, depending on how your account is set.
- Only where text messaging is enabled for your account, follow-up messages to people who called you.
- An owner app with call records, transcripts, recordings, job detail, and monthly reporting.
What the service is not
- It does not price your jobs. Anything it says about price is a range based on the rate information you give us, never a binding quote, unless you configure it otherwise and accept that decision. You confirm the number with the customer.
- It is not legal, insurance, or regulatory advice. Certificates of insurance, parking permits, licensing, and tariff filings remain your responsibility.
- It is not a lead source. We do not sell you leads and we do not generate demand. We answer the calls you already get.
- It is not a guarantee of results. We do not promise a number of booked jobs or a close rate. Statistics on our website are industry figures, not forecasts about your company.
Your responsibilities
- Give us accurate business hours, service area, rates, and policies, and tell us when they change.
- Set up call forwarding on your own line, with our help, and keep it configured the way you want it.
- Honor the moves that are booked on your calendar, and respond to the move requests we take, or tell the customer promptly if you cannot.
- Keep your own licensing, insurance, and regulatory obligations in good standing.
- Do not use the service for anything unlawful, or to contact people who have asked you to stop.
Call recording and consent
Calls handled by the service are recorded and transcribed, and callers are told at the start of the call that the call may be recorded. Recording law varies by state. You are responsible for confirming that recording is acceptable for the places your callers are calling from, and we will configure the announcement to meet your requirements if you ask.
Text messaging
Text messaging is not enabled today. Where it is enabled for your account in the future, the service will text only people who called your business. We would handle A2P 10DLC brand and campaign registration with the carriers on your behalf, using information you provide about your business. Every message would identify your business and support STOP. You agree not to ask us to message people who did not contact you, and not to use the service for marketing blasts.
We do not place outbound AI voice calls to consumers, for any client, for any reason.
Fees, billing, and fair use
- Plans are Starter at $299 a month with 600 minutes of calls included, Full Desk at $499 a month with 1,200 minutes included, and Enterprise at a custom price for multi-truck or multi-location companies, from 3,000 minutes a month pooled across your numbers.
- Billing is monthly in advance, starting the day your line goes live, not the day you sign up.
- Setup, your question pack, and texting registration are included in the plan price.
- Fair use: every plan includes its minutes. If you go over your included minutes two consecutive months, we will move you to the next plan or to Enterprise. We never bill surprise overages.
- Prices can change with 30 days notice by email. You can cancel instead of accepting a change.
Cancelling
Month to month, no minimum term, no cancellation fee. Cancel any time yourself from Billing in the app or at our billing page, where you can also see invoices and change your card. The service runs to the end of the paid month, which is not prorated, and your desk switches off when that month ends. You can also tell us and we will do it for you and help you remove forwarding. Moves already booked on your calendar and move requests already taken stay yours to honor or to cancel with the customer directly. Your number is yours and is never transferred to us, so nothing has to be ported back.
Your data
Call records, transcripts, recordings, and job details created for your account belong to you. You can request an export at any time, including on your way out, and we will provide it in a common format. We use this data to run and improve the service for your account. We do not sell it and we do not share it with other movers.
Availability
We work to keep the line answering around the clock, but the service depends on telephony and cloud providers we do not control. Outages, carrier problems, and maintenance can happen. We do not offer a formal uptime credit at this stage, and we will not pretend otherwise. If an outage affects your calls, tell us and we will make it right in a way that is fair.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim connected to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits, lost jobs, or indirect damages. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Suspension and termination by us
We can suspend or end an account for non-payment, for unlawful use, or for asking us to send messages to people who did not contact the business. Outside of those cases we will give 30 days notice before ending service, and we will export your data for you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the District of Columbia, without regard to conflict of law rules. Disputes are handled in the courts of the District of Columbia.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms we will update the date at the top and email account holders before material changes take effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means the new terms apply.
